MOLENAAR PAPIER
Molenaar Papier is in 1970 opgericht door Jaap Molenaar. Het bedrijf startte aanvankelijk in Amsterdam maar omdat de visindustrie een steeds belangrijkere afnemer werd, was een verhuizing naar Volendam in 1988 een noodzakelijke stap. In het jaar 2000 heeft Jaap Molenaar het bedrijf doorgegeven aan zijn zoon Collin Molenaar en schoonzoon Dirk Schot. Het werd noodzakelijk om uit te breiden dus in 2001 werd een prachtig pand in Edam neergezet. Het bedrijf is inmiddels uitgegroeid tot een warm familiebedrijf. Hoewel het zich tegenwoordig hoofdzakelijk richt op de groothandel van verpakkingsindustrie zijn zij altijd trouw gebleven aan de rijke visindustrie van Volendam en de bloeiende kaashandel van Edam. Als uitgangspunt proberen zij zoveel mogelijk restmateriaal een nieuw leven te bieden om de afvalstromen te verminderen en het milieu te ontlasten.
Molenaar Papier is founded in 1970 by Jaap Molenaar. The company initially started in Amsterdam but because the fishing industry became a more important customer, a move to Volendam in 1988 became a necessary step. In the year 2000 Jaap Molenaar passed the company to his son Collin Molenaar and son in law Dirk Schot. It became necessary to expand so in 2001, a beautiful building in Edam was put down. The company has grown into a warm family business. Although primarily in the wholesale of packaging industry they have always been faithful to the rich fishing industry of Volendam and the flourishing trade of Edam cheese. As a starting point they try as much as possible to give rest materials a new life to reduce waste streams and relieve the environment.
